A bed time prayer!!!

Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray for a man who's not a creep.

One who's handsome, smart and strong.
Who's not afraid to admit when he is wrong

One who thinks before he speaks.
When he promises to call, he doesn't wait six weeks.

I pray that he is gainfully employed,
Won't lose his cool when he's annoyed.

Pulls out my chair and opens my door,
Massages my back and begs to do more.

Oh send me a man who will make love to my mind.
Know what to say when I ask "How fat is my behind?"

One who'll make love till my body's a' itchin'
He brings ME a sandwich too, when he goes to the kitchen.

I... (more)

So this term is slowing drawing to a close... And what a year it has been.... From moving into my apt with two of my very best friends, the parties or just random girls nights at mmk place, the adventures, the heartaches, the studying we should have done, and the THINGS we shouldn't have done. I just can't believe in July I will be back at my house in Powell... The mmk place will be no more, or atleast it then be the mmm place. lol
Yet, really this isn't a time of 'goodbyes' or what not, but a new turn in the book... This year was good, but that doesn't mean the next won't be better. One week... (more)

So it has been awhile...Things have just been kind of flowing along. Not much really to write about...Yet still. Thursday we had another "Thirsty Thursday" night... Can't say we don't love those at my place. They do rock it pretty hardcore. And plus is went to see a Powell Rugby game too... It so made me want to play again. So I really think in the Spring I am going to start back and play again...I really have to get back in shape then, so Heather and Michelle have agreed to join up and help whip my weak behind back in shape...Maybe it will work, and I'll look good in my swimsuit this summer....
Kids kids kids. How have you been enjoying the storms that have been finding their way away our lovely little Knoxville. My roommates and I decided to spend the storms nights having good fun parties w/ our best of friends. You can't beat that. From the moment I walked in the door of our great little apt to find a room full of kids playing circle of death to having my friend get sick off of our deck...( is he sick? no he is just coughing...{boy throws up} oh that is just my drink...) hehe To all the drunken photos to the things we just couldn't put on film.

Back to the daily grind.

So I am back to the daily grind again. I am actually in the library right now, putting off my history paper which is due Monday. Yep I have 0 out of 8 pages done. I think I am doing very well don't you think? Yet for some reason just right now I can't really focus on the Irish Potato Famine... I know I have to get to it. I only have a few days to get this paper to be great...6 days actually, if ya'll are counting. But I just can't pull myself to write it just yet. I have found me some sources. So that is somewhat of plus don't you think???
It is just that I don't think Spring break helps... (more)

Hey, I am back from Nashville. I had to come home and dog sit my dog.... lol but it was a good trip non-the-less. I got to see Joey (Jessica's baby). He is too cute for words. Then Mandi, Jess, me, and some of Jessica's friends drove to Mike/Jen's apt and drank some before we went to a pub to celebrate St. Pattys... Got me some green beer, and suprising enough it tastes just like beer. lol...

The party this past weekend was really fun...Good friends, good drinks. What esle do you even need? I would say the mmk place can throw the parties! (hehe even if I do say so myself) Even kids from my work came, even one of my boss! How cool is that??? Anywho, it was good night, even if one friend ended up in the bathroom and another started to speak like a furby (No I am not kidding). This weekend was good little break in between my midterm weeks...

You can die from many different things in life... Bees, cars, illness, killers, and maybe even school. There haven't been any studies done on this issue, but I think there should be. I believe that maybe colleges and/or other forms of schooling can be the potienal killer of our youth today... Look at this example and then decide for yourself.
Stress levels of a college student are noted to be well above the over young adult around the same age area.Is school the cause, I say so. With Spring break almost jumping into our laps and our teachers feeling that this is the perfect time to give the... (more)
