(Life According to Katie. Who esle you going to trust?)

The magic is as wide as a smile and as narrow as a wink, loud as laughter and quiet as a tear, tall as a tale and deep as emotion. So strong, it can lift the spirit. So gentle, it can touch the heart. It is the magic that begins the happily ever after."
(Walt Disney...)

Just when I think I have learned the way to live, life changes and I am left the same. The more things change, the more I am the same. I am what I started with, and when it is all over I will be all that is left of me.
(Hugh Prather.)

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
(Mark Twain)

I am always doing things I can't do. That's how I get to do them
(Pablo Picasso)

College may just be the death of me...

You can die from many different things in life... Bees, cars, illness, killers, and maybe even school. There haven't been any studies done on this issue, but I think there should be. I believe that maybe colleges and/or other forms of schooling can be the potienal killer of our youth today... Look at this example and then decide for yourself.

Stress levels of a college student are noted to be well above the over young adult around the same age area.Is school the cause, I say so. With Spring break almost jumping into our laps and our teachers feeling that this is the perfect time to give the evil things known as "mid-terms" and all the paper topics and papers and whatever esle they could throw at us. And they are all due in the same small time span... Doesn't the thought of it just make you want to scream... Remember when college was a time for you to open your mind and have the freedom to find out what life really is... Well those days are truly gone. No more free thought or discussions. There isn't enough time in the day to worry about stuff that isn't cover on the test or even going to matter in the essays... In college you have to focus on the facts not the stuff behind the facts... You can't open your mind to think outside the box, or you will probably fail your exams...

With all the mid-terms and papers and advising appointments to were you have to plan what classes you will take monthes from now, there is no time to be free thinkers... To think about anything really for yourself... Just worry about the facts your teacher hand you and maybe ( if you are one of the lucky ones) you may get that grade you need to keep your GPA up and not make your parents scream...

Maybe college isn't anything what it should be or I thought it would be.... Maybe I can't focus on the facts because I want to learn more then just that... Maybe just maybe college might be the death of me!
